Death penalty / solitary confinement

Well if I could have death penalty or solitary confinement I would rather have the death penalty. I think there are worse things than dying and living without family, friends, or relatives is worse than dying. Plus you would be forever regretting what you did and for the rest of your life that’s all you would think about. Being locked away without exercise, fresh air, showers, family, and freedom for the rest of your life is just like a very slow and painful death. I would much rather die of fast painless death and then a long torturous death. I think the prisoners should have a choice; death penalty or solitary confinement.
